How can I do better notes next time

I answered some questions correctly because i could of make the definitions of each word and write them as a summary and then write them on the card so then i could of got them correctly.

I answered some questions incorrectly because i did not write the correctly definition and used them as a real think because next time i will use a summary in instead of cards .

To take better notes next i could use Cornell notes for main ideas and supporting details.
