Watch your comma usage. Capitalize the first word of your sentences. You say that the light object will both float and sink. Are you sure?
I meant to say heavier objects sink
Heavier object may sink but they can also float.

Yes, it can weigh less than the fluid it is in, still be heavy and float.
The heavy can float.
