megan said...: the reason why some things float and some things sink because the weight of the object.The way to make things sink is if you get something that weighs more than the water and to make things float is if you get something that weighs less than the water. other wise it is the density of the stuff and the water or what ever you are using.; September 29, 2008 at 11:07 AM
