Some things float while others sink because some things are heavier than others and some things sink because they have holes in them.

I am currently reading a book called Summer of kings. I am on page 68. If I pass this test I get to vote which book is better.

I know a lot about Floating and Sinking.I know that heavy things sink and light things float.Sometimes things sink if they have holes in them but if it doesn't have a hole it won't sink.Like Ivory soap does not sink even though you put a hole in it.A rock sinks if you throw it in the water.A pencil eraser will float.You also you can learn many other things about floating and sinking.

Some things float because they don't have that much wight .Some things sink because they have wight even when they have a hole in the middle.

Things float and sink because when you put a heavy thing in the water it sinks because it weights a lot , and things that does not weigh a lot it floats, like small wood ,aluminum cans and aluminum bolts , sink ,paper sinks, and a marble sinks beach balls floats , fishing bobber floats .

I know a lot about sinking and floating.I know that heavy things sink and I know that light things float.Most things with holes will sink and most things that don't have holes will float.Ivory soap will float even if you break it or if you put ahole it will still float.

floated, and things sink because if you needed oxygen tank when you went to looked for stuff
under water it would have to sink.

I know that ivory can float for a long time. Clay can float if you shape it the right way. Clay can sink if you don't shape it right. I know that some heavy stuff can sink or float.

The reason why some things float and some things sink is because of buoyancy . It also depends on what fluid it is floating in and the density of the water and shape.If the density is greater in the shape than the fluid it sinks.If the density is less than the fluid it floats.

We put salt in water and then steered it around,then put the golf ball in and tried to make it float, if floated at 280 milliliters. Why did others the float at a different milliliters?

Why some things float and some things sink

Some things float more than others because, it would be more buoyant than the fluid it is in, or an easier way to say it is the item weighs more than the fluid it is in. Salt makes the fluid more dense and makes most things float when it is in that fluid. Some things sink because, it is more buoyant than the fluid it is in.

Some things float because they are light or the walls are high enough . Like on the foil boats you have to make the bottom flat.On the soap boats you have to make the walls high enough.

Hey what's up people,anything new?? Okay, here's the Plan my family and I are going to Mexico this coming Friday May 23, 2008. Most of my family lives in Mexico so I don't really get too see them much,at lease twice a year.I am so excited to go because my dad said that he was going to take us to so many places, I am also very excited because we are going to stay at Mexico for a whole month. Since I was about 6 I had not been able to stay at Mexico that long.I like Mexico because it is not cold it is (Hot)!! [Jorge's Blog] ֯ My time in the mile .

╫» My time in the mile was 7:35 and i got 3 place.It was pretty hard to run 8 laps but i got use to it so i had a good time on it.I got pretty scared when i heard that WE where going to have the mile run that day.My friend Omar got 1st place and my other friend Wade got 2nd place and I got 3rd place and my cousin Alex 4th place.Us 4 got a good time on the mile run i was glad that i got 3rd place because i almost got 4th in the last lap because my cousin was in the back of me so close to me.But i still got 3rd place so im good with that.<╦>

On Sunday afternoon me and my brother where playing catch and i found a big hole in the ground when my brother looked in the hole he said it was deep and dark we went to go get mom when me and my mom got outside the hole was gone ''it was just there mom I I'm telling the truth mom '' I said ,''hahaha I really have to make dinner now sweetie d and make sure you see those invisible holes.'' The next morning I was playing with cory then me and cory runing then we fell in a big hole we fell at least for two minutes we hit the pretty hard but we were fine, ''man where are we?'' ''I think were in the center of the earth?'' said cory man it's hot down here man.'' I said.has we walk though the middle of the earth it got cooler then something weird happened a snake appeared and it had to heads and then I woke up I said it was a bad dream.

Children, do you know that I was in the San Francisco earthquake of April 18,1906. San Francisco earthquake, what's that, little Jenny asked? Oh, sweetie the San Francisco
earthquake was a huge earthquake that killed thousands of people,it wrecked the city,
grandma replied!Tell us more,Tell us more ,the children cried! Okay, In San Francisco
your grandpa and I always , always went to walk or we went out to eat.He always took
me to eat to my favorite restaurant called "Cendy's Mexican restaurant"!!!!!

Your grandpa was the best husband I had ever had, said grandma. Grandma you've had
more than one husband?Grandma interrupting them,lets not talk about it. Anyway,so one
day we went for a walk, suddenly the ground started shaking . I got really scared,so your
grandpa said lets find out what going on and lets leave. Please lets go,I cried! The ground
stopped shaking for a while but just for a while.When we went back to the house, stuff were
in the floor,broken.Suddenly,the ground stared shaking again, so we went out side to check
what was going on.

People were yelling earthquake, earthquake,everyone was panicking, grandma said. So
we ran in and hid under the living room table.I remember that your grandpa and I closed
our eyes, As we covered our heads too.The earthquake got stronger and stronger every
minute. Finally after a few minutes, we felt like the earth stopped shaking, and everything
was back to normal.So we went out side to make sure everyone was okay. You guys should
off seen the big mess that was left. There was lots and lots of people lying on the ground with
blood on them .Few survived that horrible earthquake.You children know we were one of the few that survived,grandma said? What a wonderful and sad story that was,said little Jenny
and Jorge.

[(Welcome) to Cendy's Bolg*!!!!!!!!] My Journey to the "Center of the Earth"!...

On October 8, 1996 my dad had gave me a present because it was my birthday.My dad gave me a dog named Princess.Later in the evening when I came back from basketball practice I was looking for Princess, I went to check in my room and there she was just staring at my closet.So,I opened the closet to check if maybe she left a bone in there while she was playing.As soon as I opened the closet I saw a huge door taller than me.I walked away to tell mom but then I came back because I got curious.I opened the door slowly it looked like a cave.I stepped in and just stared. Then I stared walking ,I got tired and sat on a rock.Suddenly I saw a weird-looking monster pas by,I hid behind a bush to wait till the monster left. I got up and followed it.The monster finally stopped and went in a little cabin where a little village was at.I ran as fast as I could back to the closet door because one of those weird-looking monsters saw me.Finally when I got to the closet door I could here running foot steps running behind me.I shut the door quickly and went to the bed and grabbed it and pushed it against the closet door. So nobody could get in or ''OUT"!!
